Hornsea 2 Installation & Commissioning Completed
Last week, the world’s largest wind farm Ørsted’s Hornsea 2 entered full operation, following the completion of the Hornsea 2 installation earlier this year (Source).

The 165 Siemens Gamesa SG 8.0-167 DD turbines were installed by DEME’s Sea Installer and Sea Challenger in 230 days. The average on-site duration for turbine installation was 1.8 days per turbine. The monopile foundations were installed by DEME’s Innovation and Cadeler’s Wind Osprey.
