Sea Impact is pleased to announce the release of its revolutionary platform – Sea Impact Market Intelligence Platform (SIMIP) – which provides unprecedented insights into offshore wind installation and O&M activities, and gives our customers full access to performance analyses for all installed projects.

In early 2020, the Danish offshore wind consultancies LAUTEC and PEAK Wind launched their market intelligence service Sea Impact. After the release of the O&M Jack-Up Intervention report last year, they now take the next step to provide the industry with full access to the easy-to-use interactive platform.

“After a strong year delivering market intelligence to the industry, we saw a growing demand from clients to get extra flexibility in their own performance analyses. We enable this by providing access to our full set of data analytics. This motivated us to develop this licensed platform,” says the Partner, Lars Conradsen.

By offering access to installation performance benchmarks for any constructed offshore wind project, the SIMIP allows customers to validate and improve their project schedules and budgeting. The platform further gives customers access to vessel performance benchmarks and vessel utilization rates, making it an invaluable asset when selecting and negotiating with marine contractors.

The platform is continuously updated to include the newest constructed wind farms, installation durations of new turbine platforms, the performance of new vessels and the installation in new markets.

“We continue to develop and improve the platform with new functionalities, new insights and new KPIs. We are currently working on the implementation of the cable installation scope and O&M pattern by service operation vessels, both to be released later this year,” said Partner Anders Pihlkjær.

The platform is now available with different module offerings, visit the services section here on our website (https://sea-impact.com/market-intelligence-platform/). For more information and get in touch for a demonstration.
