WTG Installation by Vessel Company 2024
It was once again Cadeler with a combined 188 WTGs installed between its four jack-up vessels Wind Osprey, Wind Orca, Wind Scylla and Wind Zaratan. This is the third year in a row that Cadeler has been the top WTG installer. Fred. Olsen Windcarrier came in second with 104 WTGs installed between two vessels Bold Tern and Blue Tern. Their third vessel Brave Tern spent most of the year in the yard for crane upgrade.

Among other highlights this year we saw Seaway7’s new jack-up vessel Seaway Ventus install her first 40 turbines, while DEME Group installed 66 turbines between US & French projects and Jan De Nul Group continued installation at Dogger Bank with their mega jack-up Voltaire installing 29 turbines. Korean player Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co.,Ltd. installed 10 turbines at Jeonnam 1 where they had previously installed foundations as well. Finally, Van Oord completed the WTG scope at South Fork Wind at the beginning of 2024 and since has been occupied with the foundation campaign at Sofia.
