2022 saw plenty of foundation installation activity across the offshore wind industry. Heerema Marine Contractors installed the most components with a combined 255 foundation components installed between their vessels Aegir, Sleipnir and Balder. DEME Group was the second most active with 218 foundation components installed between four vessels.

Keep in mind that the duration of installing a transition piece, a jacket or a gravity-based foundation often takes significantly less time than e.g., a set of pin-piles or a monopile.
