Siemens Gamesa holds the top spot – again!
With 186 turbines installed in the first half of 2026, Siemens Gamesa continues to lead the offshore wind market for the tenth consecutive half-year (since H1-2021).
In total, four OEMs and six turbine platforms saw installation activity in H1 2026:
- Siemens Gamesa: Installed 8 MW, 11 MW, and 14 MW turbines across multiple sites
- Vestas: Installed 75 turbines, all of their next-generation V236-15.0 MW turbine
- GE Vernova: Installed 30 units of the Haliade-X 13 MW platform
- VENSYS Energy AG: 23 units of the VENSYS 170-5.7 at Yeonggwang Nakwol in South Korea

Industry-wide installation reached 314 turbines, representing a 66% increase compared to H1 2025, with a large number of WTG campaigns active.
